LA DOLCE VITA

'Being allowed out in the evenings to eat dinner with our friends in the beautiful city of Rome was really fun as we got to see Rome in a different light.'

'Italian drivers aren't very considerate to pedestrians and so there were a few times where we almost got run over!'

'Some of the Italian men were fun and enthusiastic, it may have been the fact we were English and they could say 'jolly good' to us, or maybe they just wanted our money.'

'There were many stray kittens around the old cities of Rome, they may have been infected with disease - but we still stroked them anyway!'

Food in Rome

One of the most well known aspects of Rome is its food. These include pizza in the many bakeries by the streets. A pizza slice is usually cut in half and folded with the toppings on the inside to create a tasty treat on the go. There are also numerous ice cream shops in Rome. These sell a diverse range of splendid ice cream, with flavours including mango, coconut, kiwi, Castagno(chestnut), melone(melon) and of course cioccolato (chocolate).
