WHAT I LIKED BEST ABOUT ROME

Rome was amazing. The weather was fantastic except for a small bit of rain in the evening which did nothing to dampen the excitement of the trip. The Colosseum was my favourite attraction, as not only was it a really warm day with blue skies, it was a phenomenal piece of architecture and was very awe inspiring.

I also really enjoyed the cycle tour. Afterwards I found it hard to sit down, but nevertheless I saw a lot of things I wouldn’t have seen otherwise and got some amazing photos.

My highlight of Rome was when we went on an expedition to the Coliseum. Once there, I was taken aback by the sheer size and grandeur of the monument. The history it had to offer had far exceeded my expectations, which is not usually the case when observing widely renowned locations. It will be a hard experience to beat!

My highlight of Rome was experiencing the amazing architecture throughout the city, from the colosseum, to the fountains, the obelisks and the museums – I felt the architecture was the best part of Rome.
